Silverfish? Protect the damp corners.
Silverfish want damp and paper; spiders want corners and undisturbed frames. Both enter along the same edges: bathroom skirting, cellar walls, window frames, the tops of door frames.

Allow to dry
Dries clear. Keep the room clear until the surface is dry.

Insects sense the surface and turn away.
