Ants follow scent trails along edges: the floor-wall junction, window sills, door thresholds, the gap behind the dishwasher. Treating the ants you see today does nothing about the trail. Treating the edges they use does.

Treat the routes, not the room. A few metres of the right edge does more than a whole floor.

Window frame
The gap between frame and sill is the classic entry. Treat the inside edge of the frame.

Behind the worktop
The joint where the worktop meets the wall is a covered highway. One pass along the back edge.

Skirting by the bin
Food smells draw scouts along the skirting. Treat 30 cm either side of the bin.
Four steps
Spray
One even pass along the edge, about 25 cm away.
Allow to dry
Dries clear. Keep the room clear until the surface is dry.
It repels
Insects sense the surface and turn away.
Reapply
When the protection period ends or after washing down.
