Repeltec

Keep insects out with a longer-lasting repellent

Most pest control starts after the insects have arrived. A controlled-release coating works the other way round: it is on the surface before they come.

Most pest control is a reaction. The insects arrive, someone sprays, and the spray deals with what it reaches. A few days later the trail is back, because the route and the reason for it are still there.

Working before the problem starts

Repeltec is sprayed onto surfaces inside a home or a business.

Because it is already on the surface when insects come looking, the job shifts from treating an infestation to keeping a route unattractive. Repeated insecticide use also selects for resistance in local insect populations, which is one more reason to look beyond spraying.

Where it goes

  • Ants and cockroaches: kitchen edges, skirting boards, the gaps behind appliances and the base of cupboards.
  • Storage areas: shelving uprights and the floor to wall junction.
  • Soft furnishings, dog baskets and blankets: textiles, after testing a hidden corner.
  • Mosquitoes: door and window frames on the inside, and the walls around them.

Read the label first, apply a thin, even layer, and keep children and pets away from treated surfaces until they are dry.

Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
